norelem has expanded its range with new stainless steel spring hinges, offering a robust solution for swinging hatches, doors or covers independently to a predetermined position and back again. The integrated spring mechanism eases operation and makes it safer.

A heavy-duty torsion spring is fitted inside the hinge cylinder and, unlike designs with external springs, remains invisible and protected inside the housing. It is pre-tensioned during assembly and transmits its force directly to the hinge pin. The spring hinges are self-closing or spring-opening, depending on the type: Spring-opening variants ease the lifting of heavy hatches, while self-closing variants automatically pull doors and protective panels back to their secure starting position.
