New from norelem: latch clamps with safety interlock and flexible pull and toggle clamps

norelem is expanding its range of clamping elements to include latch clamps with safety interlock and other types of pull clamps and toggle clamps for industrial applications. The aim is to offer users even more choice for quick, safe and repeatable clamping, even with limited installation space and demanding loads.

The new latch, pull and toggle clamps ensure more safety and process stability in production and assembly: an integrated locking mechanism reduces the risk of unintentional release, while reliable clamping forces reduce downtimes and reworking. Simultaniously, tool-free clamping shortens set-up and cycle times. Types for tight installation spaces and different mounting positions as well as steel and stainless steel versions offer additional flexibility for a wide range of applications.

New pull clamps with side mounting for tight spaces
For applications with tight installation space, there are new pull clamps with side mounting available:

• Material: steel and stainless steel
• Retaining force: up to 3,400 N

These pull clamps are particularly suitable where mounting on an adapter plate has to be carried out from the side, not the front, e.g. by narrow profiles, compact fixtures or confined machine spaces.

New toggle clamps: quick, repeat accuracy, flexible
Toggle clamps are used when workpieces or assemblies are changed frequently and an accurate repeatable clamping position is required. norelem has added two new horizontal variants to its range:
