norelem Launches New Range of Pneumatic Cylinders for a Variety of Applications

norelem, a leading standard component specialist launches a range of pneumatic cylinders for use in compressed air applications and factory environments. The range consists of standard, compact and round cylinders which offer easy installation and integration within machinery.

The new range features the DIN ISO 21287 compact cylinder which is equipped with position sensing for proximity switches and elastic damping on both sides, allowing the cylinder to return to its original shape after absorbing shock or vibration.

Marcus Schneck, CEO of norelem comments, “This new range of Pneumatic Cylinders is ideal for engineers as they can be installed without fastening elements, reducing downtime and maintenance. We’re always looking for ways to design and offer easy fit components to ease the life of an engineer.”

The new range also introduces the DIN ISO 15552 standard cylinder, boasting a sustainable design. norelem has always focussed on providing sustainable products and with this standard cylinder, 20 percent of the material can be saved during production as the tube is made of anodised aluminium.

Lastly in the range is the DIN ISO 6432 round cylinder. This round cylinder is made from stainless steel, enabling it to resist corrosion in a variety of environments. It can also operate in settings with a temperature of -20 °C to +80 °C, making it perfect for use in environments susceptible to fluctuating temperatures.

norelem offers three DIN-ISO standard types with different stroke lengths and rod diameters. The DIN ISO 15552 standard cylinder is available with rod diameters of 32 to 80 mm and stroke lengths of 25 to 250 mm. The DIN ISO 21287 compact cylinder, which is available with a male or female thread, piston diameters of 20 to 40 mm and stroke lengths of 10 to 50 mm, and the DIN ISO 6432 round cylinder has piston diameters of 10 to 25 mm and stroke lengths of 10 to 200 mm.

Engineers can find the parts they need from norelem’s industry leading catalogue and reference guide, THE BIG GREEN BOOK, and products can be ordered online directly through norelem’s webshop.
